We all know Twilight, don’t we?
What if the story goes cmpletely different? That Bella reconsiders her relationship with Edward, and then she thinks that she needs someone who grows up with her, instead of someone who’s stuck in his age, like Edward.
As Edward loves her very much, I guess there’s a BIG chance that Edward would let her go to have what she wants and he’d respect her decision. So then, he’d make a sacrifice.
You know, just like Benjamin Button who left his wife and daughter because he loves them very much. He knew, instead of getting older, he’s actually getting
younger. And he sacrifices his feeling, his heart. He said to Kate once, that their daughter needs someone who could grow up with her (implicitly not him).
What if the story goes this way: Despise her deep love for Edward, she said to him, “I need someone who can grow up with me,” although she know that would hurt him very much. Would she ever be able to hurt Edward’s feeling? If so, then how it’s supposed to be called?
Selfishness?
Sounds like one.
